Hooray!  My co-author, Cary Morgan Frates, and I just learned "The Other Side of Heaven" was among the top ten finalists in the prestigious 2010 Orange Rose Contest, sponsored by the Orange County Chapter of Romance Writers of America!  Winners will be announced in October.

I received word my historical epic/time travel movie script, "Conjurer," finaled in the screenplay category of the 2010 Pacific Northwest Writers' Contest.

I am pleased to announce "The Other Side of Heaven," a time travel novel that I co-authored with Cary Morgan Frates, was first place among the finalists in the Mainstream Novel with Strong Romantic Elements category of the 2009 Golden Rose contest, with the final judge giving us a second place win.

Last year, I received a semi-finalist award in the prestigious 2008 William Faulkner – William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition in the Novel category for my sci-fi/time travel adventure, "Dragon Dawn."
